The use of aromatics greatly impacts our emotions and creativity, since aromatics are processed in the same area of our brain that creativity, conscious choice and emotions happen. This is why it is so fun to (safely) use oils with others! It draws out the gooey, mushy instinctual need we all have for connection and community. I thought it would be fun this year to include a quick recipe (card and details below!) for connection using our incredibly blended synergy, ConnectX. This blend is truly an expertly blended synergy of some of earth’s strongest aphrodisiac oils. It not only smells amazing but the hard to achieve balance between the rich nutty aroma of nutmeg and the powerful aromatics of rose otto and ylang ylang make this enjoyable for all! **Please note, this recipe and blend are for external, adult use only. While we love to encourage creativity, we also believe strongly in safety. Please do not use this massage blend or the undiluted blend on sensitive areas or genitals. If you have sensitive skin, stick to diffusing this blend as there are a few skin sensitive essential oils that your skin may not like at any dilution!**
Connection Massage Recipe
2oz of vanilla infused jojoba oil
10 drops of ConnectX Scentsable Health Blend
2oz bottle (either glass or PET) with lid
DIRECTIONS: Fill the 2oz bottle with your vanilla infused jojoba oil. We are a huge fan of this one from Aromatics but if you have time, energy and resources you can also make your own infused carrier oils! Other carrier oils that work well for massage are grapeseed, avocado and sweet almond. Avoid coconut as it is not only drying and clogs pores it leaves the skin very greasy. Put 10 drops of the ConnectX Blend from Scentsable Health in the bottle. Put on the lid and shake well. I love using washi tape or creating a unique label when I create massage blends like this, so have fun!
For application, as mentioned above, please avoid sensitive areas and genitals. If you tend to have very sensitive skin, test the blend on an area like your forearm before applying liberally elsewhere.
